Derek Ollenberg is a Canadian crane operator and the founder of SteelSight Systems. He has spent years running cranes on different sites, filling out paper tickets, juggling unconnected apps. The software that had been built was built by someone who had never spent a day in the field trying to use it.
So he taught himself to build the tools he wished existed.
